“ Chimac made for a pretty good dining experience – great for sharing as a group. The portion sizes were decent, but nothing too crazy (the large chicken for $38 was probably enough for about 3 people). We ordered the original and mild spicy fried chicken. The chicken was crispy, and the coating had a clean, well-balanced flavor—not overly salty or greasy. Service was decent. Ordering the food is done through a kiosk at the front, and there’s a robot that delivers the food to your table, which is kind of cool, I gotta admit. I can see how this way of ordering could be convenient for some people. They also serve the chicken with a side of pickled radish, which is alright—nothing crazy, but it’s still nice (if you enjoy radish, that is). The seating area is quite narrow, so it might be difficult to find tables for a large group. It could also be challenging if you have accessibility or mobility issues. I was happy with this visit, and I’d like to visit again to try more from the menu soon! ”

“ An introverts dream. Very good spot for solo dining. Ordering is at the counter kiosk and food is brought out by the robo cat server. Kiosk screen instructions on how to order and picking your table was very well explained and easy to follow. I had the rose tteokbokki with chicken pieces. The sauce was so good and the chicken was perfect and had the right amount of crunch. Will go back soon to try the rest of the menu! The robo cat was so cute ”
“ I ordered a chibab - Korean fried chicken rice ($16) for my lunch. Ordering - Easy + Each table has a table number on it. Find your favourite table and go order at the kiosk. The kiosk only needs your table number. + After you get your order receipt, get your napkins and water on the bar table next to the kiosk then go back to your seat. + They printed every info you need on a A4 paper, you can check my photo. Picking your autistic seat - Easy + I think the layout of that restaurant is overall sensory friendly, just pick the one you like. Food delivery + They have Robot delivering food to you, check my video. So you can see It’s basically a self service restaurant. No human interaction involved in the process. Food - 8.5/10 The portion is not too impressive but fair enough. Fried chicken is juicy inside, crispy outside, it’s fresh and tasty. This meal is well balanced, I feel satisfied after finishing it. Overall I will give this restaurant 5 star. Some irrelevant thoughts Kiosk + Robot delivering food = Autistic Safe Space Why is that? Being Hyper-vigilant around people. Accumulated trauma of always being seen as odd and wrong. A lot of people dislike autistics at the first sight, maybe it’s xenophobia. The problem is some of them simply have no consideration for fairness and easily act on their dislikes. The chance of an autistic getting mistreated in our daily life lies in every social interaction. No, I will never fight back in the same way, I’m not shady and small. Writing down my experience and making my voice LOUD is my strategy right now. ”
“ Try the Rose Chicken Pasta and you will fall in love instantly. It’s got the perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess and spice and is the best combo of pasta+fried chicken. The only thing I’d change is to cook the noodles softer but that’s a personal preference thing. I’ve recommended this place to family and friends and they love it equally. It’s a cozy restaurant with a nice range of differently sized tables so whether you’re after a quick lunch bite or a small gathering - CHIMAC is the spot! ”
